OMG!! OMG!!! OMG!!! That was pretty much me during this issue! Sorry that there hasn't been any reviews in a while, uni got very busy. But it is ok, I am back, and what an issue to return on! After many months, her identity is revealed, and I am very happy! But, we will discuss that more later shall we? Unfortunately, this series ends with this issue. I am very sad about, but I don't think it is the end for this Thor, this is only the beginning!
The issue starts off where the last one ended, with Odinson bringing nearly all of Marvel's female lineup to help Thor take on the Destroyer, who is being controlled by Odin's brother Cul. Despite everyone's abilities and powers, no one is even making a dent. Enter some awesomeness from Freyja to end the battle. Once everyone has returned home, Odinson once again tries to get Thor to reveal her identity, stating he already know who she is, but just wants her to admit it. Then the woman he suspected shows up disproving his (and many others) theory, Thor gets away before further questioning, and Odinson is left flustered and frustrated. We however, are let in on Thor's little secret.
I would like to congratulate Jason Aaron on a great series, full of suspense, humour, action and all around entertaining. The art in this issue, done by Russell Dauterman and Matthew Wilson, is as always just gorgeous. I've seen complaints about the art in this series, and honestly wonder if those people are reading the same comic as I am. I don't know about you, but I am definitely looking forward to this Thor's further adventures.

DR JANE FOSTER!! That is our Thor everyone! Now knowing her identity, her determination to keep it a secret makes perfect sense, as Odinson and Freyja would most definitely would discourage her from her superhero activities due to her cancer. Jane has a wonderful little speech at the end the book, that warms my heart, but I think also proves that she is indeed worthy. Jane truly believes the world needs a Thor, and even though it is killing her, she refuses to stop being the mighty Thor. The woman is willing to die for the world! If that isn't considered worthy, what is? Excuse, I think I have to go cry. You go Jane!
I love the red herring in this series though, the series sets you up to believe the Roz Solomon is the one wielding the hammer, seriously the majority of theories I read were convinced it was her. Then BAM, nope. I just enjoy red herrings in stories.
On a sidenote, has anyone told Natalie Portman the new? I have a strong need for Jane to pick up Mjolnir in the MCU, whose with me?
Til next time. Bye!
