This would of been written earlier, but I am a terrible, terrible fangirl and didn't even know this was released last week. I am the worst! But lets focus shall we!
Ms Marvel is definitely my favourite ongoing series right now, every issue is fantastic and this issue is no exception. Wrapping up the Generation Why arc, it definitely does it well. It's Ms Marvel vs The Inventor, with some help of course, once Kamala learns an important lesson about teamwork and that you can't alway handle everything on your own. Especially saving the world, or at least the youth of New Jersey. I love how G. Willow Wilson mixes humour, action and some pretty profound stuff from Kamala's mouth. There is legit life lessons in this series. Mix in some gorgeous art by Adrian Alphona, with fantastic colours by Ian Herring, and you get a great comic. Seriously, if you aren't reading this series yet, please do yourself a favour and read it! Is my fangirl showing?? Spoilers under the cut

One thing I particularly like about this issue is the way it shows the strength of Kamala's friendship with Nakia. The Inventor works out that Nakia is important to Kamala, and uses that against her. You can sense the sheer panic that Kamala has that her friend is in danger. Friendship is important to me, and seeing it written so well makes me a very happy person.
Another great thing is Kamala's realisation that she can't do it all on her own. Sometimes you just can't handle everything that you're dealing with, and it's ok to ask for help. This is a great lesson, and as someone who struggles with asking for help, its great to see this in a superhero comic. You can have all the superpowers in the world, but you just can't do everything all by yourself. We all need somebody to lean on ;).
Ah, Ms Marvel, bringing back all the memes. I generally love the humour in this series. I laugh a lot while reading these. I'm the kind of girl who like her comics to be fun, not that I mind a little grittiness, or 'realism', but generally, I want a mostly lighthearted read. Of course, this series I believe has the perfect mix of fun and seriousness, this issue in particular being more darker in tone than the previous issues. That being said, it really isn't that dark.
So we are left with the question. "Who is the real Inventor?". Someone created the Edison/bird clone. We might just have our next villian.

Well, next issue is definitely going to be interesting. I can't wait.
Til next time. Bye!
